Join Us as a Volunteer!

Located in Grenada North (Wellington), our vibrant community at KCA eagerly welcomes new volunteers like you. To ensure smooth access, having your own vehicle is necessary, with convenient off-street parking available right outside our warehouse.

Your role at KCA is invaluable, embodying qualities of reliability and punctuality. All volunteers must be aged 16 and above, commitment on a weekly basis for at least 3 to 6 months is required. In the spirit of transparency, it's important to note that none of our volunteers are permitted to take any donated food or goods for themselves.

At KCA, we're characterized by our size, speed, and flexibility. Our dedicated volunteers operate from our distribution hub, aiding over 100,000 residents in Greater Wellington last year alone. Through food rescue efforts, we redistributed a staggering 257,797kgs of food to various local institutions and families in need.

In addition to food-related tasks, our warehouse volunteers contributed significantly, assembling over 4,124 banana boxes filled with essential stock items.

With a team of 49 enthusiastic volunteers, we're excited to welcome a few extra pairs of hands to join our cause.

During your interview, please inform us of any upcoming holidays you may have planned.

Please feel free to choose a day and time slot that suits you best.

Thank you for considering joining us on this meaningful journey at KCA!
