Our Partners

UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO THE DECREASE IN THE VOLUMES OF FOOD THAT WE ARE RESCUING AND BEING DONATED KCA IS UNABLE TO PROCESS ANY ENQUIRY RELATING TO US ASSISTING MORE AGENCIES.  Please do not call us or email us as we hate to disappoint you.

With the rising cost of living the volumes of our non-food donations have also slowed as more families are having to sell their items to try to supplement their own cost of living.  As such we will concentrate on assisting the numerous partner agencies on our books.

KCA does not select the families to be assisted, nor can we take requests from the general public.
Requests can only be received directly from our charity partners staff/volunteers working with people from all walks of life.   If the families working with the various social agencies in the Greater Wellington region meets our Trust's criteria then the agency will log on to our bespoke online ordering system to place the order.

Larger household items are distributed to budgeting clients in good standing (i.e. meeting budgeting targets), to refugees, and to clients of Womens Refuge.

In order to receive goods from KCA, community groups and charities need to:

  • Show a commitment to the community sector that is consistent with our Trust's criteria.
  • Have a reputable and proven track record of effectively assisting those in our community who are in need.
  • Have robust procedures and appropriate facilities and vehicles to collect any item ordered from KCA.  We do not offer a delivery service.
  • Be able to regularly and consistently pick up stock within an agreed timeframe during our opening hours.
