Drop Off Points

Thank you for your generous support!

We sincerely appreciate every donation you make to KCA – your contributions make a real difference. As the school term comes to a close for the festive season, many of our wonderful volunteers will be taking a well-deserved break.

With this in mind, please note that our drop-off points will close on Thursday, 18th December 2025 and will reopen on Tuesday, 20th January 2026.

We kindly ask for your understanding during this period, as our warehouse and equipment will be undergoing essential maintenance to ensure everything runs smoothly in the new year.

NEWLANDS

Newlands Community Centre, 9 Batchelor St, Newlands, Wellington 6037

Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5pm

Please place your donations in the donation bin located to the left of the double glass doors as you come in.  If the bin is full please ask the lovely Wellington City Council staff to pop your items in their office and to call 1 of our friendly team members to clear this drop off point.

Auto Super Shoppe Johnsonville, 3 Disreali Street, Johnsonville

Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.30pm

Please place your donations in our branded KCA donation bin which is located under the stairwell.  If your donations are bulky please ask the lovely staff member to pop it in their office area and to call 1 of our friendly volunteers to collect it.

JOHNSONVILLE COMMUNITY CENTRE

Johnsonville Community Centre, 3 Frankmore Ave, Johnsonville

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4pm

This drop-off point also accepts wool and fabric for Johnsonville Crafty Critters, a wonderful group who hand-make clothing, blankets, and toys for the families we support. If you’re donating wool or fabric, please take it to the ladies in the office next to our KCA branded donation bin and mention Johnsonville Crafty Critters and KCA — they’ll ensure it gets to the right place.

Please place all other donations into our KCA branded donation bin.  If the bin is already full please ask the lovely ladies in the community centre's office to call one of our volunteers to come and pick up your donations.  They will hold on to your donations in their office.

CHURTON PARK COMMUNITY CENTRE

Monday 11-2pm, 5-7pm & Tues 10am to 2pm

TAWA - National Storage

Entrance by Firestone, 76 Main Road, Tawa

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 2pm

This drop-off point is only accepting small furniture items such as cots and nappy change tables.  It can also accept prams and strollers. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept larger furniture items at this time, as we are limited to transporting donations by car. Thank you for your understanding.

Please leave your items tidily on the shelving unit located inside the building. If you're unsure where to place them, feel free to ask the lovely staff at National Storage — they’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.
